A certified instructor of the international Guang Ping Yang Tai Chi Association, Sifu Gary Rosenblum has been teaching the Chinese art of Tai Chi Chuan for over 18 years.
Tai Chi is a form of exercise that improves balance, coordination, concentration, relaxation and meditation. The movements are slow and easy. Originally developed as a self-defense martial art, Tai Chi Chuan was later discovered to have many health benefits that everyone can enjoy without engaging in physical combat. In his classes, Sifu Gary will demonstrate some of the self-defense applications so that students can envision them while practicing the movements.
These classes are perfect for beginners or for those who are curious about Tai Chi. Attendees should dress comfortably, with sneakers and loose-fitting athletic wear suggested.
